The Rosemont will place you in the centre of the village of Yelverton and within Dartmoor National Park.

Yelverton developed during the Victorian railway boom when people came to ‘take the air’. The railway no longer runs but aspects of the old station and tunnel are still here and much of the old track is now a cycleway. The imposing houses on the village green, including The Rosemont, date from that time and give the village centre a unique look for Dartmoor. Yelvertons' character was further shaped by the war when RAF Harrowbeer was operational.*
(
*Named to avoid confusion with RAF Yeovilton, Somerset).
